What is TeachMeet?

TeachMeet is all about sharing ideas. It is a unique gathering of teachers and education professionals to share inspirational ideas, creative techniques and resources. The main part of TeachMeet is hearing stories about learning, presented by teachers. It's a chance to learn from and share with real practitioners about their successes and experiences.

There are no rules to a TeachMeet and the emphasis is on informal learning through a network of peers. Speakers at a TeachMeet do very short presentations that demonstrate an example of something that they have been doing with learners in their classrooms which has provided good opportunities for learning.

The event is free (thanks to our sponsors) and there will be free drinks, nibbles and a raffle. You can choose to share either a 7 minute talk, or a 2 minute nano presentation, or you could choose just to listen.

If you are interested in attending TeachMeet Macclesfield then please complete the sign up form above. Please then share this event with your friends and encourage them to come along.
